Hi
First of all, thanks for your help.
Has anybody worked the equipment automatic counter reading to SAP measurement documents, as a way to trigger preventive maintenance.
Do you have some info about it? To understand the functionality and how it works, the required customizing and interfaces, to estimate the effort required.
Thanks

Hi Francisco,
Refer below link
Condition-Based Maintenance - Plant Maintenance (PM) - SAP Library
Exit IMRC0001 will be used.

Hello Franciso,
SCADA and SAP Interface are the key words here. Obviously the simplest part of your question for this space is to suggest an exit which triggers a SAP Maintenance Object when some measurement goes out of limits for one time or for few specified times consecutively. That is the logic to be built in the exit (IMRC0001) by your ABAPer. But the crucial part of your query falls outside this space and asks for experienced posts suggesting the HOW? That is about, how to interface SCADA to SAP. Here another module comes into picture,i.e., SAP-XI (Exchange Infrastructure) , these days it is called as SAP-PI (Process Integration). Obviously hardware is involved to connect (often called connectors) to read the SCADA entries and interpret through XI to SAP-PM.
In my company also there are lot of such needs, but not yet implemented.

Hi Francisco
There are two questions here. First is automatic reading/transfer of measurement readings into SAP. This requires building an interface. Take a look at the following link:
Second question has already been answered by Maria Terence.
