Costs Report - Order Type linked to Maintenance Planner Group?

Hi team!

I'm looking for a way to perform a cost report that links certain order types to my maintenance planner groups.

I know MCI3 gives me cost analysis by planner group and MCI8 gives me cost analysis by order type, but i haven´t been able to relate both analysis.

I´ve been using IW39 to search in the orders history but is too time and resouce consuming...

What I need is something like this:

Order Type PM01Order Type PM02
Mechanical Planner Group$$$$$$
Electrical Planner Group$$$$$$

Any suggestions will be much appreciatted!

Best regards,

Jorge

Hello Jorge,

Try SQVI or Infoset Query or ABAP program using Infostrcutures S061 (MCI3) and S115 (MCI8).

Note:

  • In case of SQVI and Infoset Query, you may have to correct (add) the joins, studying the output you get initially. There will not be such issues in ABAP program and for ABAPer it is a simple task.
  • SQVI is the simplest thing which should address your requirement.
  • You will have to use more tables for other information like Equipment Description etc based on your requirement.

Good luck

You can create new PMIS in SPRO.

If you don't know this functionality, please search more for self-defined LIS.

1) Maintain self-defined information structures

2) Maintain update rules

3) Execute the transaction OLPM to update existing data into new LIS

4) Use the transaction MCIS to display data from new LIS

Hi Jorge,

You should have set a variant in IW39 and create a batch job.

Which can trigger email to you... this is a one time activity, after that the report will be in your email.

Thank you Terence!

I´ve never done a batch job before, i'll give it a try.

There is no way of getting there from a MCI report?

Jorge
