use JAM with external applications

Hi,

I was trying out the sample application ESPM, on using external applications with JAM as documented in the link

After Importing the Sales Colloboration group template, i am not able to create a group of type "Sales Colloboration group". The option simply is not visible in the list of templates to choose from.

How ever, from the admin -> group templates, i am able to preview the template.

I am trying out this on HANA Trial.

Anyone if faced this issue, please advice if you had found a solution.

Hi Krishna,

Once you have imported the template, to create a group navigate to Business Records > ESPM > Products to view the list of products from the ESPM app. When you hover over a product ID you should see a pop-up menu from where you can create a group - you should now see the Sales Collaboration group template and be able to create a group that will include the product data.

The template is configured to use the Products business object - which is why you don't see it in the list of templates when creating a new group.
