GRACACTUSAGE not updating

Hi,

We're facing difficulties fetching data into table GRACACTUSAGE.

I've already performed the following validation found in

  • STAD - OK, showing information
  • Checked background jobs via SLG1 - shows no errors
  • Verified the following notes:
    • 1704699 - job is not having this issue, it completes shortly but does not update the table
    • 1716500 - in our case job does indicate completion
    • 1702180 - not related (duplicate entries)
    • 1715597 - not related, not receiving any dump

Tried with both scenarios described in the

The Action Usage Sync job in technical details - GRC Access Control 10.0 - Governance, Risk and Comp...

Last action recorded in table is in 2013.  Please advice.

Regards,

Lynette

Dear Lynette,

I strongly recommend to run an authorization trace in the backend system. Mostly the RFC user is missing authorization and therefore data cannot be fetched.

Run STAUTHTRACE for the RFC user in the backend and add any missing authorization.

Dear Lynette,

Please check the job GRAC_ACTION_USAGE_SYNC last execution date and run the job once again from SPRO from dailog mode and see the table update.

Let me know how long this job is running in background.

Job for GRAC_ACTION_USAGE_SYNC, last executed today.

Result from execution in SPRO (it takes only a few seconds, tried 2 scenarios, first with User field empty and second with user field wildcard)

A new entry from yesterday appears in GRACACTUSAGE.:

There are no actions between 10/14/2013 and 09/03/2015.  *The job is configured to run every 4 hours.

Best regards,

Lynette

  • Current release and service pack level. :Version: 10.0  ;SP: 0016
  • Already implemented SAP notes releated to your issue: none
  • Business Case:  We want the "Owner" of a Risk defined in GRC to receive an e-mail notification when a Defined "Monitor" does not execute a control, control being running a specific report in GRC.  For this alert to be generated system must capture whether the monitor executed the transaction or not.  We defined a job to execute GRAC_ACTION_USAGE_SYNC but when verifying the table GRACACTUSAGE it only brings old information.
