BI 4.1 Universe level combined restrictions not working

We recently upgraded to BI 4.1 SP6 from Sp2. The combined restrictions (combine row restrictions using AND within group hierarchies and OR between groups) was working correctly till we upgraded. The combined restrictions has stopped working even for new universes. When 1 universe level restriction is applied to one group it comes in the where condition. When provided to multiple users, there is no where clause.

Any thoughts?

Can you please elaborate your issue bit more? More over have you noticed any change in Restriction priority post migration?

We are having a fair bit of access restrictions at the universe level based on the countries.

1. Country India - rowrestriction with siteid=1

2. Country US- rowrestriction with siteid=2

2. Country UK - rowrestriction with siteid=3

likewise.

We have usergroups in CMC for each of these countries. When I add user A to either one of the groups the restriction works fine. When add the user A to group1 and group 2, it is not working.

It should acutally write a where clause like site=1 or site=2. It is actually not doing.
