Diffrence of SAP SMP patching and SMP SDK patching

HI Guys,

Recently i been provided with below information and asked to patch SAP mobile plattform ,

SMP / MBO:

- Built using SMP 2.3.5 SDK

- Minimum SMP server version required is 2.3 SP05 PL02

- Recommended SMP Patches for 2.3.5: 10683, 10703, 10710, 10716

- New MBO package needs to be deployed on SMP server: “SAP MOB RETAIL EXEC MBO 3.3.0.jar”

- Initial data load from CRM / ERP to SMP required

- Previous version that required MBO changes was 3.2.15

I have few doubts,

1) Should i install/patch SMP SDK first  or SAp mobile platform from SMP 2.3.4 to SMP 2.3.5 then PL01 and PL02.

2) Also i checked all patches (SDK and SMP 2.3.5 PL01 and pL02) but could not found 10683, 10703, 10710, 10716 in these downloaded patch files.

Please suggest.

"client side changes" involves re-compiling the mobile application with a new set of SMP SDK libraries

Hi VG,

The SDK is only relevant for client side changes, its sufficient to install 2.3 SP05 PL02 (as you described), for the patches please create a ticket to SAP requesting the patches required.
