Hello Tanya,

I think the install guides will clarify your questions regarding SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0.

Let me quote one line: "SAP NetWeaver Gateway is a development framework which is available as a SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP (AS ABAP) add-on, which you can install on top of your existing SAP Business Suite or application platform.".

Since the GW is on an AS ABAP system, you cannot administer it form the portal (AS Java).

For example you will see "SAP Gateway General Components" in the CCMS monitor (RZ20 transaction).
