Method in BADI : Define Additional Checks for Webdynpro not getting triggered.

Hello,

I am quite new to SAP travel management. My client has upgraded to ehp6 and net weaver portal 7.4. For overlapping trip request to generate an error message "travel request data for the given period already exist" was introduced by activating a BADI TRIP_WEB_CHECK which defines and implement

interface IF_EX_TRIP_WEB_CHECK in the class CL_EX_TRIP_WEB_CHECK using method USER_CHECK_GENERAL_DATA a customized badi was created.

After upgrade of staging system, the BADI was still active. But while raising overlapping trip request I am not getting the above error.

The BADI is active in both the system. But the effect could be seen only in the older version that is ehp3 system and not in the upgraded one.

Kindly let me know what could be the work around.
