Hi Forum
Does anyone know whether we can capture the "teaching language" of a program of study anywhere in standard SLCM. I have looked on SC object infotypes but have not found anything.
Thanks in advance
Andreas

Hello Andres, we haven't seen anything specific for this. My suggestion: you can create a infotype "Teaching language" and relate it to object SC. This is done in Tx SPRO. This could be even usefull for your modules (SM objects). SPRO path:
Alternatively and quicker, but not as professional, you could add a subtype in the description infotype for your SC objects. We've done this for alternative description of the SC object. But we were not needing predefined values as you will need for languages.
Cheers,
Michael

Hi Andreas;
Beside the suggestion from Michael you could explore the usage of the following standard infotypes as potential alternative (see it as creative use of standard available info types);
* Disciplines can be assigned to the following objects:
- External subject
- Module
- Module group
- Program of study
Kind regards

Andreas,
The other option is to extend the info-type 1730 program data (CI_P1730) to house these information.
