BPA Job Submit Routine

Hi Experts,

I have one job in BPA which is submitted at 2 AM everyday. In case the previous day's job, runs beyond 2 AM current day, BPA schedules the next job run for the next day, It skips current day's run.

Is there any setting with which this can be prevented. I am thinking of using events. Please advise.

Thanks,

Ritesh

Hi Sowmya,

Yes..I had thought about it.Will give it  try but this may not solve my issue as it submits 2 processes in advance but doesn't guarantee that the submit routine is followed.

I am looking for some redwood config which would submit the process at specified time even if the last day's process hasn't completed.

Thanks,

Ritesh

Create a lock and assign it to the job definition.

Choose Job Presubmit count as 2.

Now even the if the day 1 job continues to day 2 and then finishes at 03AM. The day 2, job will start at 2 AM and wait for day 1 job to complete and will start immediately.

thanks

Nanda

Hi Ritesh,

Can you try by choosing Job Presubmit Count = 2 while submitting?
