TBB4 - Treasury Module (Virtual Close)

Hello Experts,

Our client is planning to go for Virtual Close, so they want to know from Treasury side if TBB4 can run on a daily basis?

As TBB4 is usually a  month end activity used for accrual of interest expense/income, and it get reversed the next day i.e. 1st day of the next month.

If we can run TBB4, what will be the impact?

Do we need to change the configuration?

Is there any risk involved?

Please advise.

Thanks - Imran.

Hi Imran,

There should be nothing changing in the configuration.

It's ok.

Hi Feng and Pankaj,

I have one more questions with regards to TBB4.

I have few Contracts in Treasury (Commercial Papers) where the final repayment is done and the contracts are still show up every month in TBB4. (Accrual/Deferral)

Technically if the contract - final repayment is done then it shouldn't be showing up in TBB4. Basically I want to get rid of these contracts, when I run TBB4 I don't want to see these kind of contracts.

What could be the issue? Is there any issue with configuration?

Please advise.

Thanks - Imran.

Hi Imran,

Run TPM12 and check if there is position on the date it should be over.
And check if there is position.

Hi Feng,

When I run TPM12 nothing comes up, it says "No Positions Selected".

If I uncheck the option - No Zero Positions and then run TPM12 with key date  - 8th Oct 2015 then I get below details:

What do i need to do to get rid of this contract in TBB4 during month end?

Please advise.

Thanks _ Imran,
