Interaction record Notes text restriction

Hi Experts,

Need your help regarding the Interaction record notes .

The requirement is: I created the Interaction record and maintain the notes and saved. Now other users also able to access my interaction record  and edit the notes .

Is there anyway I can restrict the users not to edit other user interaction record notes.

Please could you provide your inputs.

Hi Madhu,

Don't think you can achieve that without some development. If so, you can try to apply your desired logic in BADI CRM_ORDER_FIELDCHECK in order to make the field editable or read-only.

Hi Madhu.

The standard approach is to setting the note type to Logging. You do this in SPRO under Define Text Determination.

Once the Note is saved, it cannot ever be edited again.
