Hello Experts,

In the FIM 10.0 How to disable or grey-out the options Merge, Append, Replace, for users..

Ex:- X users can Run Merge Option, Y User Can Run Append,.

Please let us know the difference between Append and Merge Options on FIM Jobs.

This is BPC specific functionality. I believe Merge will overwrite existing data IF the mapping results in an existing intersection (i.e. you would load data to an intersection where there is already data)

Append would simply add another record (note: this can lead to unexpected results, as it leaves existing data in place)
