Reference value from another Excel file in IP Planning workbook

Hi,

I'm unable to find any information on this on the web/forum so, wanted to check here with the experts.

Currently the users are planning manually through spreadsheets so they use lot of formulas and refer to external links within the workbooks to get the data.

Is this possible using the IP planning workbook also.

For example,

Within a block if I could reference the external file to copy/get the values and save it to planning cube but when the workbook is opened next time they should be able to reuse that formula?

Please advice.
