Transformation File STR()

Hi,

I have the following code in my BW master ENTITY   : NODE_ P1200 

and  I need NODE_CC_P1200  code in dimension Entity on SAP BPC 

NODE is dimension Area (User define)

In my transf. file I do.  

ID = Area + *str(_CC_) + ID(5:20)      -// 20 is variable

When I validate Transf. file, I have error. ¿Why?

I think the issue is with ID(5:20)  - not all ID's have 20 characters!

Use JavaScript to perform this simple conversion in the conversion file.

"javascript for trasnf. file." - incorrect, javascript can be used for conversion file!
