Hello,

Is the parameter defined at the profiles (instance profile or DEFAULT.PFL)?

If yes, what is its value?

Hello Samrat,

yes, this parameter is obsolete. What is the job, which tries to read this parameter? Is it configured in the variant to read it?

Alwina

Yes, but this does not mean that the parameter is not set at the profile .

If it is, you should remove it.

Cheers!

Isaias,

The parameter is not set at the profile. But how this error log showing Profile parameter 'ztta/roll_area' could not be read: Error code is 4?

Thanks,

Samrat

Hello Samrat,

you have to check the affected program and its variant, why it is trying to read an obsolete parameter. Probably this program needs to be corrected, and if this is a SAP program you should contact SAP.

Hello Samrat,

as I see in our test system this is a BW program for data extraction, I do not know, what this program is doing exactly and how it gets parameters. You can display the variant in SE38 for this program, what is configured in this variant, and if you can see already in the variant the parameters to read. You need to ask the BW team at SAP, why the program reads an obsolete parameter.

Hello Samrat,

I would review the memory configuration, given SAP note 2085980 (New features in memory management as of Kernel Release 7.40). I also suggest using kernel 7.42, as kernel 7.41 is out of maintenance (SAP note 2207362).

Hi Cris,

I have already followed SNOTE  2085980. As per the Snote ztta/roll_area is obsulated as of NW 7.40. This parameter is not available in our system. Please suggest how to ignore the issue.

Thanks,
