ISU-Installation grouping-Billing sequence control

Hi,

We have recently done installation grouping configuration.

Please find below the screenshot:

Because the distribution relevant flag 'DR' is set, we expect the secondary installations to be non billable till we bill the primary installation.

But we are still able to bill the secondary though the primary is not billed.

Below are the checks we have done on the installations:

1. Grouping type of the Primary Installation is confirmed to be GSIT

2. The secondary installations have the correct primary installation number mentioned in the 'Primary installation' field

3. The secondary installations have the role 'MPRN'

4. The 'Bill Sequence' field of the secondary installations' billing orders are blank

5. The secondary installations' billing orders have status 'Billable'

Is there anything we are missing?

Is it possible that an event or exit is overriding the configurations?

Regards.

Hi,

If you remove the check for Consumption relevant , it should work for you.

You can check this http://wp.me/p1Ci5j-cq

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

It actually worked.

But there is another related problem.

After I set the 'Consumption Relevant' flag (I unchecked it first as per the steps detailed in the link, then I checked it back again), the billing orders that I create for the secondary installations still has the 'Billing Sequence' set.

I even removed the secondary installations from grouping and re-added them to the group, and then generated orders through EL01. But the billing sequence is still '1'. I will expect it to be blank.

Is this an issue? or standard SAP behavior?

Regards,

Joshua.

Well I guess, the developers weren't expecting such modifications to be done.

This would be an issue. If it's replicating you can raise an OSS.
