Hello Experts,
I have created TO and SU has successfully generated.
We haven't printed the TO and SU label yet , but using the SU number in LM02 for testing.
We entered the SU number manually in LM02 for testing but system is throwing below error .
" Invalid bar code "
We don't get any option to enter the SU manually without scanning.
Please throw some light on this issue.
Regards,
Om
Can you clarify one point please?
You mention:
"We entered the SU number manually"
You also mention:
We don't get any option to enter the SU manually
Can you or can you not type or paste the SU number into the transaction?
Normally I would expect the system issue an invalid storage unit number message if there was some issue with the storage unit but also I would not expect the system to mention invalid bar code if you manually type the SU number. If you hand key this number and get invalid bar code I have to agree with Manish in thinking the error message may be misleading and the help of a developer might be required...personally I would type /h in the transaction field before executing that and see whats happening myself.

The basic SU number config looks the same as in my system so it should be good. It seems strange to start with a "31" series and end with "39" ( I would expect the start to be "30" if ending in "39") but I don't believe that would cause any issue.
For the bar code issue it's not possible to advise if you have the correct bar code set up in SAP because we do not know the bar code font used to print the bar code on your physical labels.
I believe the prefix and delimiter might not be correct in your config but that does not explain why the system will not accept the SU number when you hand key it into the field. I would check with development team as the basic requirements to allow manual entry seem to be there, correct that issue then work on the bar code issue separately (resolving the first may also resolve the second).
Hi
I'm facing similar issue, how did you end up fixing the issue, what setting did you change in the application identifier?
Thanks!

Hi,
Please check there is a valid entry in the table LEIH for the storage unit.
If so, please try by adding the prefix "00" to your storage unit number in the LM02.\
