SRM datasources: init load performance

Former Member

Hi people,

I'm loading Standard SRM datasources 0BBP_TD_SC_1 and 0BBP_TD_SC_APPR_1.

I've launched init infopackage, and it's taking really long time, and there are not that much amount of data.

Is it normal?

I've checked this post: SRM BW Extraction Performance - Supplier Relationship Management - SCN Wiki  and the only OSS Note that might apply to me is 1557442 - Optimization of TRFC_QOUT_GET_AND_PROCESS

If you have had the same issue and you know if it's normal, or you know how to improve the performance, I'll really thank you!

Hi,

@Jyothi, there's no problem with connections, problem is the time of load.

Nothing weird in jobs.

@Andreas, my main concern is the other datasource which takes, for less than 1million registers, 1day and 15hours (init load).

I think I'll contact SAP.

Hi Alberto,

have you checked SAP Note 1643495 for 0BBP_SC_TD_1?

Best regards,

Andreas

Hi Alberto,

please check the below points

  • check the source system connection if it is ok or not?
  • check the background job(BIREQ*) status in SRM ? was it running /successful/cancelled?
  • if the above job is successful, then check the tRFC (sm58) entries for the above specified data sources in SRM , if you see entries, try to execute them manually .
  • if there are no tRFC, then just for testing, try re-running the info package full load  with just one shopping cart number
