Sandeep,

Is 'test' the path where the archive logs are?

ARCHLOGPATH archive-log-path
Specifies a relative or an absolute path where the archive log files are stored. The default path is the current directory.

Hello,

Please check your PATH system or user env variable. It looks like your PATH variable does not include  an appropriate path for DB2 binaries (e.g. ...\SQLLIB\bin). Or you can specify the absolute path of db2cklog instead.

Masako

Hi Sandeep,

if you have a look at the link I provided, you will see that you need to enter the log number, so it should be something like:

db2cklog CHECK 8036 ARCHLOGPATH test

indicates that the database attempted to write to a read-only file. As for this case, the log file S0008036.LOG didn't have the correct

permission to be accessed during the database required write access on it.

Ensure all the database files and log files have the correct permissions including user/group rights to be accessed and please also check if log file S0008036.LOG is located in the directory:

F:\db2\RSQ\log_dir\NODE0000\ and it could be accessed from operating system level, please also check what permission is set for this log

file.

Run db2cklog command for the log S0008036.LOG
