Disable the export button?

Hi experts

I cant find a way to disable the export button, from Analysis, Olap edition.

We want the users to view the data from within BILaunchpad, and NOT export it locally.

Is this possible?

We are running BI4.1 SP5 patch 4.

Any inputs is appreciated!!

Hi Björn,

This is not possible at the moment to disable "export menu" in Analysis edition for OLAP.

Only two rights are currently offered : create new workspace and export to Analysis Application.

If you think it would make sense to have this feature, and other customers would be interested, then please post your idea in SAP Ideas Place :

When it has reached enough votes, it will be reviewed for implementation in future release.

Yeah, i saw those two rights, and those arent enough in this scenario.

Sometimes there are undocumented rights, but apparently not this time...

I will post an idea, at SAP Ideas Place.

Hope This might works from CMC > Application > Analysis for OLAP > User Security > Assign Security > Advance > Add/Remove Rights....

Thanks for your reply, but the right you mention is the right needed to Export to Design Studio, as an Analysis application.

I seems that it isnt possible at the moment, but maybe in a future version.
