Navigation to local file

Hello experts,

We had a custom field on activity screen in Web UI, which is URL navigation. We want to connect a local file via URL link. We click URL Link, it connects internet explorer to open, but unfortunately it can't open the local file. for example it can open the www.google.com, but our local file link is starting with Z:\

Do you have any idea about it?

Hello Duygu,

have a look at note 987894 - Content Management: Local file as URL with 'file:// if you want to create a reference to a local file.

Hi, You may locate your file on application server, content server or any public sharing tool like google drive or Dropbox.. Regards, Orkun.
