Country Default on New Account Creation

Hello

Need some clarification

In SAP C4C when we create a New Account the Country Field is populated to US united States.

We have maintained the Users Address data ( and Country) in the employee record

But this country field is always prepopulated with US united States,

One of our customer would not like this to be defaulted and would like to input the value.

Can some one suggest how to  get this done.

Hi Piyush,

I have raised same concern to C4C support. They have deemed that is is based upon the cache memory and there is no setting to control auto filling the country when creating an account.

Depending on the last "save" it will default the value for that logged in user.

If you want to have a default based on rules, then use the workflow engine to default a value or clear the value always on the create trigger event.

Thanks for the information but the Country field is not available in as a "field update" as of 1508.

It is only available as a condition.

Open an incident and clearly define the exact use case that you would like to configure in the workflow engine and the result you would like to see.
