The CREATE button is disabled in my esh_cockpit..

Dear All,

There are 2 things I need to clarify.

1) I do not have a TREX and I want to search my Active/In-active area, How do I do it? I just have one production system. (I get the error MDG_MATERIAL connector error).

2) The Create BUTTON in ESH_COCKPIT is disabled (screen shot attached)

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Hello Tushar

1. You have to install TREX for material for better results. If not TREX then use DB search. Don't give any thresh hold % and check. For Fuzzi search Enterprise search is must.

2. I think TREX is not installed in your system hence the button is disable? Not sure but I can see the Button in my system.

Hello Tushar,

Could also be an authorization issue. Do you have the following roles?

SAP_BC_TREX_ADMIN, SAP_ESH_LOCAL_ADMIN

SAP_ALL will not do, you need to assign them explicitly.

Hello Tushar,

I did not read you question good enough. You don't have a TREX installation. In that case I hope you have a HANA database and you can use the HANA search.

Alternaltively you can use indeed (as suggested by Kiran) the DB search but that is a lot of work.

In any case you will have problems with Multi and Mass requests. Because a hard check is done if material exist using ESH(TREX). TREX installation is still advised (required) by SAP.
