sapinstgui.exe on SAP Netweaver 7.03 can't connect to port 21212 connection refused?

Hi professionals,

i need some help to solve this issue when try to install sapgui on SNW 7.03.

Application starts and then in the gui is an error message like this:

"Error while connecting to communication partner - see preceding messages.

Could not connect to host localhost on port 21212.

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect"

I have set JAVA_HOME and the java version is 1.7->is that ok, or is 1.4.19 the right one?

Hi,

Where are you installing SAPGUI ? On your fron ent PC? OS version ? Which file you are using ?Please attach the screenshot.

Hi,

Yes i try to install on my local pc, sap allready installed on the sam machine, now i need the gui,

here are the Systeminformations:

OS: Windows 7 Professional 64Bit with Service pack 1
Installed RAM: 8GB

CPU: Intel i5-3570

Free discspace: 180GB

SAP NW Version: 7.03 64Bit, downloaded as "NWABAPTRIAL70304_64" zip file

Maybe is my javasettings not correct, because i have a 5 difficult java versions on my pc installed?

I think this is from my previous installations

What screenshot you mean/need, i can post all infos what you need for this?

"As next step I installed SAP GUI. There is a version of SAP GUI within installation media folder:

Frontend&tools\SAP_GUI_for_Windows_7.20_Patchlevel_7_SDN_version_20110701_1428.exe "

There was an issue during installation of gui, vcredist_x86 not found, i click on cancel but the rest of

istallation was continued, and i can loggin to gui.

I download the vcredist_x86 and istall them, and reinstall the gui just to be sure.

But is impotand that i can login to sap wit gui.
