Is it possible to have currency converter on the (employee file ) comp info.

I think he means when viewing compensation info, can you change the currency and see the converted amount?

I meant when we open compensation worksheet there is option to view in local currency and functional currency. My client looking for similar field in compensation info.

From what i read, Potnuru would like a currency conversion option in the CompInfo Portlet in EC. The Comp Worksheet already has this functionality.

This could be done I believe, but you'd need to create a Generic Object to store the currencies and conversion rates. I would achieve this by adding 2 new fields - a picklist field with the currency in and a view-only custom-string that would display the appropriate value from the Generic Object. This would mean maintaining both the currency conversion table as well as the Generic Object.
