Interaction history in Business Partner Assignment block in CRM Web UI

Hello,

We have requirement that the transactions for the last two years for any business partner be displayed in the respective BP assignment block. We are not sure about the logic based on which the interaction history is fetched in the BP assignment block.

We defined a new timeframe M-24 (last 24 months) and assigned it to interaction history.

But the interaction history is not behaving in the expected manner. Interaction history with closing dates earlier than 24 months is also getting fetched and displayed. We are not sure what is expected by standard. We infer from our observations that the interaction history is fetched based on the change history, in our case.

Could someone please throw some light on how the interaction history is fetched in the assignment block. Also please let us know how the interaction history can be restricted on the basis of closing date rather than the change history.

Hello Padmanabhan M,

From 701(EhP1) onwards, framework offers a new feature called "Configurable Data retrieval parameters". This offers configuring the data at the assignment block level thereby provising finer levels of data filtering for the same transaction shown at different applications (Accounts, Contacts, Employees).

Thus, if you check the configuration in BSP_WD_CMPWB, means that when viewing the configuration of the views, via the component BP_BPBT/AccountActivitiesOV or BP_BPBT/AccountInterHistOV, the data retreival parameters would be visible.

In your case, you can use search criteria "end date" in "Data retrieval parameters" to restrict the date range.
