The UAE is moving toward a tax regime (VAT): is there any SAP localized solution?

Hi, everybody,

I recently discovered that Dubai (UAE) is willing to move toward a tax regime in 2016 UAE considers tax regime as it moves law on corporate tax forward  | Al Bawaba

Is there any solution offered by SAP or in work in progress? May be a reference note for all the updates?

As per that URL, it is only a proposal and once it is confirmed by the Government, SAP would release a note to suit local legal requirements.

HI Sara,

This is not yet officially announced in UAE, in case there is a legal changes like this in UAE, we would look at providing a localized solution to meet this requirement.

I think its just a proposal now and we need to wait for details of the tax structure. Please share if you have any concrete details.
