Hi Mika,

That complete indicates you have Technically complete the order.

To close, you need to go to IW32 and do business complete.

Hello Maria,

But the problem is the order  isn't TCLO, it still has the open status !!

Hello Mika,

  • It seems you are expecting Order completion from IP10 by clicking on the highlighted flag.  This does not effect the Order status. You have to do it form IW32.
  • Clicking on from IP10 will be effecting the scheduling process, but does not change the Order status. But if the Order is completed from IW32 it will influence the scheduling process.

  • So the clicking on the Complete icon in IP10 has a different application for someone who needs so.

Hi,

We cannot set TECO via IP10 ? I still remember doing like that in the past. But could not replicate it now in my system.

Is this functionality changed or this is the standard behavior ?

Hello Rao,

Thank you for your help,

But please what is the button "white and black flag" ?

I have another question, if I'm wrong in scheduling how to remake the ordonnacement ?

  • The flag is to convert the schedule line item of IP10 to completed status, so that further scheduling triggers. This does not have any connection to the Order status.
  • Second question the word used is not understood.

Thank you for your help,

Assuming I made a mistake in scheduling, how can I reschedule my plan ?

  • If the Cycle period and the Scheduling parameters are alright, then click on Restart button in IP10.
  • Otherwise change the parameters (IP02) and Restart.
  • In case of extreme constraints, Deactivate the plan (IP02) and make a new one.

Thank you Rao your are the best !

Last question I don't always understand how the blan and black flag work, this is a test I did :

1- Create plan IP41 ( Cycle : 1 month )

2- Schedule plan with IP10

3- click on the flag " Complete "

So what's happen after that ?

Thank you for your help,

Regards,

Do this way first (Later you can experiment further)

  • Create a plan (IP41) with 1 Day cycle.
  • Give item details (Order type, Equipment etc).
  • Give Start of cycle date as 01.10.2015.
  • Do not fill any other fields (No schedule period, no compl tick, no tolerances, no shift factor). Just Save
  • Now IP10 it.
  • You would find only one line with New start Save to call.
  • Save and re-enter IP10.
  • Now select the New start called line and click on the B&W Flag.
  • Give a date 01.10.2015 in the popup and continue.
  • You will find the line shows New start complete status and Simultaneously a line is added Scheduled save to call.

Perhaps this is what you are intending to see.
