how to use bex-analyzer in MAC OS.

Hi Expert,

Please tell me how to use "Business explorer Analyzer"  in MAC OS. Is there any SAP document that explain it. Or SAP "Business explorer Analyzer" does not support MAC OS.

Hi Manoj,

Bex Analyzer is an excel add-in which will come with Bex Explorer installation.

Bex Explorer is reporting environment which will bring data of SAP BW targets.

You need to have SAP GUI to use BW environment. In this way process works.

Hi,

Bex is an applet of Microsoft Excel for windows: you can use it only in a windows environment and you must have Microsoft Office.

If you have a Mac I think you have to install a virtual desktop (ex. VirtualBox) based on windows.

Another solution is the use of Bex Web Analyzer but this solution is possible only with recent versions of Bex servers

BEx analyzer is included in BI-ADDon which needs to be with GUI.
For SAP GUI, it is not possible to install on MAC, so BEx analyzer should not be possible on MAC OS.

Hi Manoj,

Maybe you can post this question in SAP GUI area.
Further, it is necessary to confirm whether the BI addon can be used in such kind of GUI or not.
Until now, I only find the Bex analyzer can be used in SAP GUI for Windows.
