Issue with maintenance plan that have status SAVE to CALL

Hi Gurus,

There is an issue with M.plan having status SAVE TO CALL, Please find the screen grabs below

We regularly see maintenance plans that have come to an stop ,then when looking at this they always have SCHEDULED SAVE TO CALL message.

For some reason the schedule job of IP30 (eupope45) doesn’t find these PM’s when run in the background,in the foreground it does.

When I run this in the background the plan is still activated

Can you let us know why is this happening and why the status will come as SAVE TO CALL..??

Praveen,

Does this plan have an inactive or deleted status set (check IP02).

Also check if the completion requirement flag is set in IP03. If so, then you will need to TECO the previous call first.

Alternatively, go into IP10 and press the save button to create these two calls.

Then re-test IP30 again.

Hi Praveen,

Some time IP30 not worked as per our expectation. so you can go with Tcode SM36 and schedule job using Sort field or any other suitable parameters.
