ESS WDA personal profile edit is not working

All,

We have refreshed our ECC SBX system recently.

After this refresh, edit functionality is not working in ESS Personal Profile screen.

In Personal Data - View icon is not working.

In Addresses, Emergency Contact address, Main Bank, Family Members/Dependents - Edit icon is not working.

Emergency Contact Address, Family Members - Delete icon is working.

How to resolve this issue?

Please advise.

How about when you run the SAP standard App config, do you still have edit issue in SBX?

Also can we have ur LPD screen shot, want to check parameters etc passed for personal profile.

We have custom config for this service, but we are using SAP Standard config HRESS_AC_PERSINFO.

I have tested both the config and edit icon is not working in both of them.

Application alias and Target App Parameters are missing, pls add them and retest and see if it makes any diff.

I compared the LPD config for Personal Profile page with SBX and DEV systems.

It looks same.

What values I can pass for Appl. alias and Target app parameters?

Is there a way to disable the edit button by changing Infotype / sub type through configuration?

I noticed this...

I opened the personal profile page - edit icon is not working.

Now I opened the personal profile page again and it displays in read only mode with Details link. (Because it is already locked by me)

Even this details link is also not working.

Any ideas???

All,

It is resolved.

One of the developer did some enhancements in FPM_LIST_UIBB - Process_Event method which

causing this issue.

Are you using the SAP standard config or the customized one.

For you its not going to edit screen and if you sent to readonly still you are seeing it as edible is this right understanding?

Please paste the config screen shots of V_T7XSSPERSUBTY  and also the component config of IT0006, also check what icon/image is configured

I am using custom config and not sending ReadOnly through app parameters.

I want to edit the personal profile.

It is working fine in DEV, QAS & PRD.

After refresh the SBX system, edit function is not working.

Compare the configurations of those infotypes and subtypes in table V_T7XSSPERSUBTY between those systems. Place screen shots for more clear of the issue.

I already compared the entries in this view V_T7XSSPERSUBTY between SBX and DEV systems.

No difference.  But I am able to edit the personal data in DEV not in SBX.

Even if it is set to read only in this view, it should display the Details link not the Edit icon.

The highlighted icons are not working in SBX.

I have checked the WDA app and component configurations.

I removed the personal details from the screenshot.

you try to run the personal profile application from SE80 with this user id and check is it allowing to edit/view.
