Advantages and disadvantages of HTML or OData Requests

Hi all,

in communication between clients an Gateway-Hub it's possible to use HTML or OData Requests, are there any advantages or disadvantages between these two ways of communication?

Hi Chris,

Consuming HTML means to access the HTML application such as Fiori Apps or BSP...

oData Requests are web Services to consume data.

So you will access to your HTML5 application (Fiori Launchpad, Fiori App or UI5 App) which are deployed in Gateway-Hub, and each application will send requests to Gateway-Hub in order to retrieve or send data using oData requests (Web Services).
