Hi All,

SSO fails often between Share Point and SAP Portal. SAP BI portal users end in a login page most of the times when the click the BI Portal link from the Microsoft Share Point website instead of a Single Sign On working.

SSO starts working at times when cache is cleared, browser closed and opened again from Share Point in a new browser window. Need help to make it work always.

My Analysis:

When javascript:document.cookie; was given in the address line when the SSO didn't work, I could see the below message:

PortalAlias=portal; saplb_*=(J2EE879804820)879804852; ServerXXXX-YYY=2823991683.8420.0000; ServerXXXX-ssl=3011228035.19685.0000; JSESSIONID=qXpDULJkRY20JWZ_DZF2T2aNkZxLUAG0wXA0_SAPA-zB2rTUm39Xgdb16WHseHKL

But the same javascript:document.cookie; when given in the address line when the SSO worked after clearing the browser cache and process gives the below messages:

SAPWP_active=1; PortalAlias=portal; saplb_*=(J2EE843116820)843116851; ServerXXXX-ssl=3310596483.8420.0000; JSESSIONID=RJuz-Kp6nqBKXjQTtOnLwiGtRZ5LUAEz8UAy_SAP-LgCdUcIO5EcaWU1dla3W1aS; JSESSIONMARKID=WnAtmgprQzgzTkHOSTFQd4_pUkXxDZ3rQxGTPxQDI; SAP_SESSIONID_RRR_100=1ww-sshEtaoN6hZeDP7uQ-rMPwhuWxHlopqgNp8_l30%3d; sap-usercontext=sap-language=EN&sap-client=100; SAP_SESSIONID_UUU_100=TcAyqAdtcvk2HgmUwhbxf-15SjRuWxHltoigNp8_l2E%3d; ServerXXXX-YYY=2505224579.30495.0000

I see that the JsessionMarkID, SAP SessionID, SAP-UserContext and so on didn't get set the first time and SSO didnt work as well.

Any idea how this can be checked further to make sure SSO works on every hit.

Regards,

Shri Vidya S
