Import Fixed Asset - Master Data creation with existing depreciations

Hi everybody,

I'm installing the module in 9.1 PL09 version.

I succeeded to import the old Master Data with Excel, including historical depreciation figures.

But I didn't succeed to create an asset with that figures.

It looks like it's not possible in the current version ..

Could you confirm? or explain how to do that?

Do you mean creating new asset, how can a new asset have a historical depreciation, or have u try create with reference.

I mean creating a Master Data Asset already existing in the older system.

I have facing with same issue previously, but i am not sure whether its apply to u or not.

try to look in the Depreciation area in tcode AS02. try change the usefull life based on the older system.

Can you explain the process you used, and what had not worked? I have successfully imported assets from the old version into the new for several customers

I was not clear enough

I succeeded to import the old Master Data from Excel, including historical depreciation figures.

What I would be happy to be able to create an asset with the standard Asset Master Data menu.

This asset would exist in the older system which is not SAP B1 and have depreciations

Hi Christian,

You can only create new assets without depreciation through the interface, then generate the depreciation runs

It is possible to import Fixed Assets from Excel, what data did not import?
