Currency Translation Variable BEx Query

Hi,

My requirement is perform currency conversions in a BEx Query based on exchange rates maintained in a Z Table in BW.

Our Fiscal Starts from JAN to DEC.

Entries in the Z Table in BW

Start Date	End Date	Source Currency	Target Currency	Rate
01.01.2012	31.12.2012	GBP	EUR	1.20
01.01.2013	31.12.2013	GBP	EUR	1.25
01.01.2014	31.12.2014	GBP	EUR	1.25
01.01.2015	31.12.2015	GBP	EUR	1.35

How can I configure a Currency Conversion
variable in BW.

You can make use of the standard tables in BW  TCURR,

Maintain the values in TCURR.

Create your currency translation type in RSCURR tcode and maintain the same in the TCURR table.

Give this translation type in the Query level and get the values converted.

Please let me know if there is any reason for maintaining the values in the Ztable. If yes we need to go with customer exits.

Hi,

It's not possible to create entry manually in TCURR atleast i am not aware of.

To transfer exchange rates you can go to RSA1 and toggle to source system.

Right click on the source system and transfer rates.

TCURR will be updated thereafter.

Hi,

You can go to t-cd:SPRO ->SAP Netweaver->General Settings ->Currencies.The sub entries below Currencies need to be maintained.
For example, "Enter Exchange Rates" allows you to create a new entry in TCURR.

In addition, you may also need to maintain TCURF for factor by "Define Translation Ratio for currency translation".

Also TCURN, TCURV may also been considered during currency conversion.
