Hi,

When we try to refresh mapping runtime in our PI 7.3 we get the following error. We know it's a password issue but where should we update the password to fix this problem?

[EXCEPTION]

javax.servlet.ServletException: com.sap.aii.utilxi.hmi.api.HmiCoreException: Connection to system RUNTIME using application RUNTIME lost. Detailed information: Error accessing "http://host:50000/run/value_mapping_cache/int?container=any" with user "PIISPID". Response code is 401, response message is "Unauthorized"

at com.sap.aii.ibrun.servlet.impl.MappingRuntimeRefresh.doPost(MappingRuntimeRefresh.java:181)

Hello Ricardo,

You should update the password/roles in user admin

navigate to  http://<host>:<port> and then choose  User Management.

Else choose http://<host>:<port>/useradmin

We updated the password in useradmin and restarted the instance but the problem persists.

Ricardo its not because of password,it is because of missing authorisations.

We compared authorizations with QAS and Production systems where the refresh is working, we also gave full authorization to the user but we still get the same error.

We finally find where to change the password

It's in

http://<host>:50000/dir/start/index.jsp > Administration > Exchange Profile > com.sap.aii.integrationserver.serviceuser.pwd
