Issues with Java Transport deployment

Dear Experts -

We have re-configured CM Services with Source Transport deployment(Activity based transport).After that configuration, we are trying to move a transport to the QA environment. The transport log shows successful, but users are not able to see the changes or code in the QA system which were part of the transport. We are doing with ChaRM. We tried with different transports and different objects ,but the issue is still same.

Attached the screenshots of the transport logs to this thread. Request you to please take a look at it and please provide us the resolution.

Hi,

If the deployment was successful would you please confirm the component is on the target QA system.

In order to do so please:

Check in the System Information >>> Development Components: your component should be there.

Thanks for your reply.

Already checked the System Information of QA system and the component is not updated. The last update was on Sep-22. We made the change from 'Deployable Export' to 'Source Export' on 24th Sep and from then on we are facing the issue.

We see the transport log is successful, but the issue is the code is not getting reflected in QA system. This has started happening only after we changed the option to 'Source Export'.

Hello Nagendra,

Changing for 'Deployable Export' to 'Source Export' is not such a smooth operation without consequences.

This changes all the way you transport the software changes between your systems. Please take into consideration all the consequences when you move to this scenario.

Please pay close attention to

4.1.3.1 Source Export - Activities

With regard to the above mentioned and the error reported by CBS, you should also consider that if the SCs which does not have sources (SAP proprietary) are configured as 'To Be Developed' - there will be such error.
