Hi Experts,

I would like to know the significance of Automatic and Display Views shown below.

Goto Tcode OIMD --> PM

If I select either of Automatic View and Display view, will it effect the Classification entries in IW21?

HI,

thats depends on how you defined the class:

in customazing for classification system-->

if we define for the table IFLOT (functional location) some organizational areas (in my example I and S) -->

then you are able in class to define wich characteristic reference to S or I -->

first of all you declare in class basic data wich org.area to use-->

and then for each characteristic:

in this way you are able in OIMD to define wich view (S or I) in automatic mode or calling the data.

I mean to say that what value we need to define in Automatic view and display view.

Hello Rudra, I'm sorry for the late answer...

in my example:

in OIMD I can define as follow:

and in that case the characteristics with Org. Area "I" are automatic displayed, differently the characteristics with Org. Area "S" are displayed when the object information is called up.
