Handling Automation (Workflows) in Redwood

Hello Experts,

I would like to ask if Redwood can act on certain notifications/events and run some jobs for SAP & Non-SAP systems.

We have many scenarios where scheduling team has to run many jobs based on certain automated events.

Looking to build some kind of workflow either by Java Scripts or out of the box Redwood functions/rules if available.

appreciate if anyone has done this before and can shed some light.

Thanks,

Kamal Bhargava

hello,

Every job can be published to be started through a webservice. This can be useful when the workflow is in an external application.

Redwood also has internal workflow capabilities where validation steps and delegation can be implemented as part of an automated process.

Thanks Gerben,

May I ask for any working setup information like the tools or the architecture being used...or any white paper if you can share..

Hello Kamal,

This is all part of the full Redwood Software suite, you can execute tasks in any SAP system, across different platforms, in databases or interact with web services.

You can find information on:

Technology - Redwood Software

Enterprise Process Automation® as a Service - RunMyJobs

All the same software, but differently packaged, different vendors etc.

Regards Gerben
