Windows share

Hi All,

We have installed agent on Windows server A. We use simple copy command to copy the files from windows server A network share to windows Server B share using the agent on Server A.

We have Windows server C drive mounted on SAP Linux Box. SAP files are written directly to windows share C. If we install the agent on Linux Box, is it possible to use the same copy commands to copy the files from SAP share C to windows Server B share  using the agent on Linux Box?. Please advise

Thanks,

Chandu

Hello Chandu,

If the B share is also mounted on the Linux box you are fine. Otherwise you can make a chain that puts files from Linux to server A first and then copy the files from A to B from the Windows agent.

Thank you Gerben. Do we need to use FTP commands to copy the files from SAP share C to windows share A from the Linux agent?.

Also do we need to install an agent on windows Server B if we want to copy the files directly from SAP share C to windows Server B share?
