Create source system BW

I need to create in BW 7.40, trx RSA1 a source system of BW 7.01.

And 'possible or there are version incompatibility?

Hi Sandro,

According to my knowledge it is possible to connect an SAP BW source system of any release. There are no release restrictions or incompatibility issues to expect.
