Error #2032 sbop dashboard 4.1 sp5 and bw 7.4

Hi experts,

We have Sbop dashboard 4.1 sp5 used as client tool to access query from SAP BW 7.4. But whenever, we try to connect, we get Error #2032.

This we are facing for past many days.

Also I have gone through many posts, which says portal integration, so Is it necessary to have BW portal in place for running SBOP Dashbboards.

Please clarify and help in resolving this?

Hi Arun,

Use this connection only if you want to publish dashboards to portal.

If you just want to preview it in the designer or save it to BI enterprise/platform then use the Query browser connection.

First create an OLAP connection pointing to your BW query.

Later you can create dashboards on Bex query using OLAP connection.

Please take a look at the below links for BW & Dashboard Integration. Using SAP BW Netweaver connection you can only publish the dashboard into the portal. If you have the BO Server better go with Query browser connection.
