Experts,
Inbound Delivery Split in EWM is communicated to ERP immediately. But Outbound Delivery Order Split in EWM is only communicated to ERP via Goods Issue. Why is it so? can we also have ODO sent to ERP immediately upon creation before PGI (just like Inbound)?

Shashidhar
Hi Shashidhar,
the sending to ERP is configured and done on the OD (outbound delivery) and not on the ODO (outbound delivery order).
This is one main difference between the inbound delivery and outbound delivery order, that there is one additional object.
Therefore a sending is done when an OD exists.
So in principle the sending is/can be done before GI if you create an OD manually. But typically GI and OD creation are done in one step. Manual OD creation is usually not done (as it is an additional step).
Best regards
Markus

Hi,
the main purpose of ODO is to serve goods issue reversal process.and OD is the acknowledgement to update the outbound delivery in ECC.

Hi Shasidhar,
You need to check same action profile use to send after PGI, right a condition for your req and achieve that.
