Unable to schedule Work Orders on public Holiday

Hi Guys,

we have an issue for Orders Scheduling for 25th and 26th Dec not able to schedule Work Order on the 2 dates. I have checked the factory calender with respect to Plant. And those 2 days were Holidays, But still the user needs to schedule WO on the mentioned dates.

I have suggested to use IP10 for scheduling WO manually . but they are not satisfied with solution. Even they are not okay with the Factory calendar chamge wrt plant. Kindly suggest alternative solution.

Also check the factory calendar in the following:

• Work centre
• Order header
• Maintenance plan

Even now you haven't closed.

Here is how you close a discussion.

Hi Bharat,

If you are using Scheduling Indicator in Maint Plan as Time-Key date/Fact Cal,  then factory calendar must be maintained in Maint Plan.

If maintenance should be planned for 365 days without any holidays in your organization then create a new calendar or use the existing one which has all the 365 days as WORKDAYS.

This will allow you to Plan & Schedule MO on the holidays as well.
