Swap of partner and consolidation Unit when saving manual postings

Dear Experts,

today we faced a strange issue when submitting a manual posting in SEM-BCS.

When I create a manual posting I insert the cons unit and partner in the document header as usually.

I mark the "Partner" Checkbox for the necessary account in the manual posting.

see my example posting below.

Everything is fine till now.

However, when posting the document. the Partner Checkbox and asignment of Partner and Consunit is swaped.

So i saved my document and display it using my document number afterwards.

As you can see the partner and consolidation Unit got swaped in the Header (9180 <--> 7290).

As well as the Partner Checkbox.

This is pretty strange behavior and quite confusing when displaying a specific posting.

This happens with every manual posting we save. no exceptions.

Is this intentional behavior of the system? is there a possibility to fix this issue? maybe in customizing?

I realize this is confusing, but the posting and results are as desired.

My only suggestion is to report this to SAP via customer message and request they change the display to agree with the initial entry.

Hi Eric

As I understand you have selected Check Box of Post Partner Unit and this will post values on partner unit instead of actual cons unit.  Please uncheck and post again which will post entry what you expected.  Share your inputs after do corrections and rectifications.
