How to bypass Workcenter Page

I have a small requirement where clicking on the workcenter in the Nav Bar automatically takes you to the search page, rather than the work center page where you would then select "search xyz".

For example, when we click on the Activities workcenter, the only option we have is to search for Activities, so doesn't make sense to click on the workcenter and then click search. We would rather have it where it directly takes us to the search page for Activities.

I have found the logical link, but not sure exactly the technical steps required to change the target page upon clicking the workcenter.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello ,

Do you mean, when you click on the 'activity search' menu, the right side navigates to search screen?

If yes, you can do it:

1. Create your own workcenter for the logic link.

2. Assign the workcenter ID to the nav. bar profile which is assigned to your business role.
