MDM with PP-PI

Hello,

     I am just beginning to dig into what MDM does.   We are particularly interested in whether it can handle PP-PI master data (recipes, BOMs, resources, etc.).   I see it handles customers and vendors but can't find any information about other items that makes sense to me.

You may also check what SAP Master Data Governance does: it has out-of-the box content for central governance of material, customer, supplier, business partner, financial and technical asset data. In addition the MDG framework let's you enhance and build your own custom models. As of release 8.0, SAP MDG also has consolidation capabilities for business partner, customer, and supplier data.
