Asset Master Data - Tax Depreciation

Hi All,

We are moving form balances from legacy system to SAP, using AS91.

for test purpose I have given amount in acquisition value, accumulated ordinary depreciation and ordinary depreciation posted till date - 01 Book Depreciation and acquisition value and accumulated ordinary depreciation  - 15 Tax Balancesheet.

I want to capture some cost in ordinary depreciation posted in - 15 Tax Balancesheet.

Can you guys tell me is there any way to capture the cost in that field.

Hi Sandy,

I think the dep.area 15 is for reporting purpose only. Due to this the field has grayed out.

its for reporting purpose.

got one more issue related to this. In regards to reporting of the depreciation area 15 Tax Depreciation.

I want to fetch a report for a period like monthy, quaterly or for six months.

Tried this transaction S_ALR_87012026 - Depreciation Current Year, but its executing for the future date not the current date.

Hi Sandy,

Check the posting to GL indicator for your tax depreciation area 15 through transaction OADB.
