Material Determination - Pricing Issue

Greetings,

I am using Material Determination to try and reach the following goal:  Anytime material A is ordered it should be substituted for material B.

My settings in OVRQ are set up as - Strategy is blank (I want it to happen automatically) and the Outcome is blank (I don’t want two items being displayed).

The problem I am having is with the Pricing.  Everything else can be easy modified to show the Original Material (MATWA) in the Outputs. Unfortunately, by having my Strategy and Outcome set as blank it is automatically replacing the original material (MATWA) with the substitution material (MATNR), then carrying out the pricing for the substituted material.  I need it to set the pricing for the original material.

Any idea on how I could fix this?

Hi ,

Create a condition table in OV16 with price ref material ,maintain condition type,and procedure.

then assign the same pricing procedure to sales document type.

I'm not sure where I'm going wrong.  I added the new material determination and now it is not working for me at all.

The steps I followed are:

• Created the condition table
• Access Sequence
• Condition type
• Procedures
• Assigned to Sales Document type
• Verified the Substitution reason
• added materials in VB11

When I enter the sales order now, it does not try to substitute at all.
